More Christmas in July with Poinsettia Petals Bundle x2 Cards

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another Christmas in July project created with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle and Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, both of which are returning favorites from last year.

I have our new Holiday Catalog products on board for 2021 and why I didn’t use them for this, I will never know. I’ll probably recreate this real quick for a sneak peek to share with you in a few days … or even maybe do a video. Who knows. It’s been really busy my way lately.

I’m still waiting for a full-blown summer, especially after the horrible winter I’ve had; so thinking Christmas with gloomy skies has not been difficult and a nice change from flowers, but only temporarily.

I love the stark black and white images with the pops of color from the designer series paper, how easy this will be to recreate with minimal product, which would work with all of our publications and for any occasion.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below, with specific card measurements under the project. Both cards were created pretty much the same way with the exception of the poinsettia and placement of the designer series paper.

Both cards are side-folding A2 at 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 cut from Basic White Thick CS. The poinsettia image was stamped and cut from Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper on the right with a DSP mat for the card on the left. All images were cut with their coordinating die from Poinsettia.

With this card, I stamped the poinsettia with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Heartwarming Hugs DSP, making sure that the center of the flower was stamped on the holly berry part of the DSP. Line art leaves and holly berry sprigs were stamped around the DSP die-cut poinsettia that was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Five Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were scattered about to embellish. The sentiment and line art images onto the card base were impressed with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

This is another exceptionally easy project to create with a 1-3/4 x 5-1/2 panel of DSP adhered to the left side. The poinsettia and 2 leaves were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and cut with their coordinating dies. The sentiment was stamped and punched out with the Banner Punch at the right from a piece of Basic White Regular CS at a 1/2″ width. The images and sentiment were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Seven Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were adhered to the stamen of the poinsettia.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
