More Garden Goodness + Slice of Happiness

Hello there! Today I’ve recreated a few of the cards in the annual Idea Book & Catalog on pages 127 and 129 with Garden Goodness and Slice of Happiness.

Garden Gate images were stamped on Soft Sea Foam CS with the same ink, Daffodil Delight, and Poppy Parade. Both sentiments were stamped in Old Olive and matted with the same CS using Smooth Sailing die-cuts for the banner and Layering Squares. I had completely forgot about stamping on colors outside of the usual neutrals.

The large pomegrante image from Slice of Happiness was stamped in Cherry Cobbler onto Thick Whisper White CS. I used an AquaPainter with a little Crumb Cake ink to shadow around the image to ground it. Another forgotten technique was used on this card of the script DSP of using a sand eraser to distress. Nature’s Twine is an item I forget to use.
