Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another Taco Tuesday card created from the Taco Fiesta stamp set and the fringe die-cut from Beautiful Balloons that screamed piñata to me.
I’m using the same colors and markers from my previous Taco Tuesday post.
As always, your shopping Supplies and wing it narrative is below with the measurements.
I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Basic White Thick CS base.
I took the fringe die-cut from Beautiful Balloons and cut my paper strips from Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Parakeet Party, and Real Red CS to 4-1/2 x 1.
I worked this card completely backwards for most but know how I work and what I can wing. After I cut the fringe, I added 1/4″ Tear & Tape that I received in a Paper Pumpkin Kit to the backside top of the fringe and started adhering it from the bottom Pumpkin Pie layer on up trying to evenly space it up and out.
After the fringe was adhered, I stamped my sentiment directly above center in Memento Tuxedo Black.
I colored my piñata with the same colors as above-linked post and fussy cut the image.
I cut a frame from All That Dies using Daffodil Delight CS.
For final assembly, the Daffodil Delight frame was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as was the donkey atop of the frame.
To fluff up the fringe, use your manicured index finger.
