MTCC 49 – Any Shade of Green

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Make the Cards Challenge 49, where the theme is to use any shade of green, and hope that you join us!

I created this simple stamping card with the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle and Artfully Composed Suite Collection. My greens are Mint Macaroon for the DSP and watering can with Just Jade for the gingham ribbon.

The DSP and ribbon are from other bundles and suite collections in the Annual Catalog with the images and specialty Vellum from the Spring Catalog, that I could literally use on everything … once again, demonstrating to you how perfectly everything coordinates to make papercrafting easy with stunning results.

I started out with a top-folding A2 Basic White Thick card base. I cut an Adhesive Sheet and the black script print Vellum Layering Designs to 6 x 6 and adhered the script to the adhesive sheet. I then cut this down further to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and layered this onto the card base using the L corner of my Stamparatus to adhere evenly without waste. Our Adhesive Sheets are unbelievably sticky.

I then went about cutting my other panels to the measurements below.

The large leafy image from Artfully Composed was stamped in Smoky Slate and cut with its coordinating die.

The watering can from Flowering Rain Boots was stamped in Mint Macaroon and cut with its coordinating die.

For final assembly of this project, the Hand Penned DSP was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Basic White Regular image panel was adhered with Seal.

Both of the images were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the image panel.

I tied a piece of Just Jade gingham ribbon from Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the watering can handle for textural interest.

1. Card base: A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, Basic White Thick.
2. Script DSP: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2, Vellum Layering Designs.
3. DSP mat: Cut from the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die, Hand Penned DSP.
4. Image panel: Cut from the 5th largest Stitched Rectangle Die, Basic White Regular.
