MTTC46 Challenge: Encouragement Card with Artfully Composed Suite Collection

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an encouragement card created with the new Artfully Composed Suite Collection.

The creative possibilities are endless with this suite collection … and when you combine it with Timeless Tropical + several of our scale-appropriate images, bundles, and suites, it’s a creative jackpot.

Our challenge today at Make the Cards Challenge is to promote encouragement and hope that you join us.

The Artfully Composed Suite Collection is amazing and one of my favorites in Spring Catalog. The sentiments, images and dies are very large. I love the colors, stand-alone dies, luscious designer series paper, the vintage-y frayed ribbon, the faux glass shapes that are new to our product line, which I absolutely love; BUT, the 12 x 12 Vellum Layering Designs Paper is outstanding, and I am so happy this perfectly patterned black and white vellum paper is part of this suite and catalog. Vellum is one of my favorite products to work with.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Measurements, are below.

I love the crisp and clean of this card that was so very easy to create with simple die-cutting and embossing. I let the products do all of the work for me with the texture and dimension in the Artfully Composed Suite Collection.

I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick CS base and cut the Basic White CS as a mat. I stamped the sentiment in the lower right with Evening Evergreen ink.

I used the ‘Hello’ embossing folder from Thanks & Hello to add some interest under the vellum and die-cuts. I embossed this mat about 1/2″ or so down from the top of the CS.

I tied a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon where the CS and embossing meet to break and pretty that up, then bowed it at the left. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the mat and adhered it to the card base.

I cut a vellum panel from the layering papers with the largest die from Hippo & Friends.

I die-cut all 3 of the images from the designer series paper in the suite collection from scripty Pale Papaya, patterned Pear Pizzazz, and an almost solid Calypso Coral. The stems were bundled together with liquid adhesive. I then flipped the entire arrangement over and proceeded to cut up little teeny pieces of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere to the back where the images overlapped.

I then adhered the arrangement to the vellum paper, added more Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the vellum where it would not show through the paper, and adhered this to the embossed mat.

To complete this project, I tied a little bow from Basic White Baker’s Twine that was affixed with a Mini Glue Dot and scattered a few Just Jade Faux Sea Glass Shapes to the card front.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
