Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an alternative project using the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin of No Matter the Weather.
This is one of the best kits I’ve seen so far and I hope you are subscribed to Paper Pumpkin. If not, SUBSCRIBE HERE. Your subscription MUST be completed by the 10th of every month in order to receive the current month Paper Pumpkin Kit. If you see a kit you like after the 10th, the stamp set(s) are not available; but, we always have refill kits.
Paper Pumpkin is designed for beginner paper crafters to help you start stamping and/or build your stash in the most cost effective way possible. Paper Pumpkin is equally attractive to avid papercrafters to continue to build upon our useable resources and are current for 1 year after the kit is released with refills available.
You see how much I use Paper Pumpkin embellishments and leftovers in my projects.
I thought that this card was so appropriate to send out to many of my friends, so I made several in various colors, really focusing on using up my DSP; since we are all under some sort of quarantine. I’m writing this blog post on March 26, so far not sick, and am getting a little punchy. I’m walking Jezebel 2 hours a day and it’s a beautiful, sunny 72 outside right now, and I do have Claritin on board. My office windows are open, I’m hearing birds and lawnmowers, and grateful for the little things. I’m also going to be filming as many videos as possible before my manicure gets too unbearable.
This is such an attractive, easy, and fun card to make, that has a lovely presentation for your recipient. The color options are endless. As always, the details are below in the Supplies and Instructions.
The houses are from the EXTRA anniversary stamp set in the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. I’ve always stressed the benefits of being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber. This kit perfectly coordinates with my current favorite of Under My Umbrella. Being quarantined, I’m binging on these 3 sets right now. It’s so ironic how this Paper Pumpkin was planned 6+ months in advance, yet completely covers the global situation we’re currently in.
The houses were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black with the top left and lower right shaded in with a Basic Gray Watercolor Pencil and blended out with a Blender Pen. The porch light was colored in with a Daffodil Delight Watercolor Pencil and not blended out. The windows are a Bermuda Bay Watercolor Pencil and blended up from the bottom of each pane.
The April Paper Pumpkin Kit is all about family and if you want this, SUBSCRIBE by April 10.
