Notes From The Heart | December 2024 Paper Pumpkin Alternatives | Monthly Kit Giveaway

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Paper Pumpkin Alternatives featuring the December 2024 Notes From The Heart Kit. Under normal circumstances, these alternatives would have been completed weeks ago. I am feeling much better now and hope you all stay well. There is something bad going around …

… and then since last Saturday, I got hit with an ice|wind|thundersnow storm, drifts, etc. So I’m writing and filming this video on Monday. My 5-1/2″ ground clearance car has been in the garage for days now and let’s just say that I’m grateful for a friend with a truck and another friend with a bigger truck pulling truck #1 out of my driveway and then packed my snow. My driveway is just frustratingly weird. Everybody is going to be dealing with this storm for awhile. It’s been an adventure.

Depending on the mail, I might have the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin alternatives for you within 2 weeks.

Also, don’t forget to leave a comment under this video on You Tube for my monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit giveaway and your chance to win this fun kit in the United States.

I have 3 cards for you that are so easy to make. This kit is very specific and without bringing in too many outside supplies, which is my norm, I think we have some great alternatives. The Fern Embossing Folder, Pecan Pie ink, kit cardstock colors, Gold Twisted Thread (Online Exclusives) with 2024-2026 Pretty In Pink 6 x 6 Subtles Designer Series Paper and Neutrals (Rich Razzleberry|Pecan Pie) 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. The kit Mossy Meadow envelopes with the scalloped sticker labels still coordinate beautifully with these cards.

All of the sentiments were stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto the kit gold-rimmed labels.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below, as well as dimensions|instructions.

CARD #1 – Pecan Pie

I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Pecan Pie card base and cut a piece of Pecan Pie 6 x 6 striped Designer Series Paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 that was adhered to the card base with Seal Adhesive. The vellum leaf cluster from the kit was adhered to the center of the card with liquid adhesive and the large fern ephemera with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gold embellishments from the kit and Gold Twisted Thread were used to decorate.

CARD #2 – Rich Razzleberry

This card also has an A2 top-folding card base in Rich Razzleberry. A piece of Basic White Regular CS was cut to 4 x 5-1/2 with the Rich Razzleberry 6 x 6 Neutrals Designer Series Paper cut to 3-7/8 x 5-1/8 that were adhered together with liquid adhesive. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere this panel to the card base. Next, the vellum leaf cluster from the kit was adhered to the center of the card with liquid adhesive and the large Pretty In Pink flora ephemera from the kit was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gold embellishments from the kit and Gold Twisted Thread were used to decorate.

CARD #3 – Pretty In Pink

For our last card, a Pretty In Pink A2 top-folding card base was created. Another piece of Pretty In Pink CS was cut to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 and embossed with the Fern EF. The striped piece of Pretty Ink Pink 6 x 6 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper was cut x3 into 1-1/8 x 4-1/2 strips. These were adhered to the embossed piece of Pretty In Pink CS with liquid adhesive, as well as the vellum leaf cluster. The entire panel was then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Next, The floral|berry ephemera image was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Gold embellishments from the kit and Gold Twisted Thread were used to decorate.

I hope you enjoyed today’s alternative projects and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
