Painted Christmas Gift Bag Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Gift Bag Card created with the Painted Christmas Suite Collection. This is a Concept Art project that I turned into a pullout card with a gift bag.

Accidentally omitted from the Supplies is the Detailed Trio Punch that I used to corner round the card base and insert.

This was really easy to make with a lot of die-cutting and adhering. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below to recreate this project.

I used an Evening Evergreen Ombre Gift Bag to house my pullout card and decorated the front using products from the Painted Christmas Suite Collection. I adhered a piece of the pinecone pattern DSP from Painted Christmas towards the middle left of the Ombre Gift Bag with Seal. The large label from Seasonal Labels was die-cut from the multi-colored greenery DSP and adhered to the bag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die-cut the two large overlay pinecone images from Christmas Pinecone from Evening Evergreen and Basic White Regular. I cut portions of the dies to customize my greenery layer to fit the large label that I adhered these to with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, with the Evening Evergreen on the bottom and Basic White Regular on top slightly offset.

I die-cut 3 large pinecones from gold Brushed Metallic cardstock of their solid and overlay detail, that were adhered together with liquid adhesive, and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the gift bag. The image was stamped onto Basic White Regular CS in Real Read ink and cut with a tag die from Seasonal Labels. The sentiment was adhered to the bag with Mini Glue Dots on the right and 2 stacked Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the left.

The holly berry images were stamped in Evening Evergreen for the stem and Real Red for the berries. These were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown. I tied a piece of Cherry Cobbler Metallic Ribbon into a bow and adhered this to the label with s Mini Glue Dots.

For the card pullout, I cut a piece of retired gold glimmer CS to tuck into the bag as a background piece with the top cut from the double-stitched curve from Basic Borders.

The single layer Evening Evergreen card base was cut and corner-rounded at the top, as was the Basic White Regular layer, adhered with liquid adhesive. I cut the bottom Painted Christmas DSP of the sentiment panel from the double-stitched curve from Basic Borders and the top DSP from the largest Stitched So Sweetly Dies. This was scored in half and adhered to the top of the Basic White sentiment panel. I punched a hole at top center and pulled a length of Real Red Sheer Ribbon through that was tied into a knot towards the top as a pull.

The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink.

This is such a fun and unique way to present a Christmas card and gift.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
