Pansy Petals Coordinating Birthday Card + Ombre Gift Bag

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a birthday card created with the Pansy Petals Suite Collection that I paired with one of the Ombre Gift Bags that I made HERE last week.

I can’t wait to send this to my Tennessee BFF that I’ve known for over 40 years. I plan on enclosing a Starbuck’s gift card inside the card and mail to her. She’s going to love this!

Part of this suite collection will be included in one of my Mystery Boxes for you.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I brought in 2 new greens of Soft Sea Foam and Garden Green for the leaves on the birthday card; honestly, because they were already cut and inside of my stamp set storage, so I decided to use them. I pulled all of the elements in from the gift bag to create the coordinating card.

This is such a lovely little gift bag and card with the DSP scalloped edge inserted into the gift bag and perfect for mailing in a padded envelope.

Since you already know how I created the bag with a link above, I’m going to focus on the card.

I started out with an Evening Evergreen card base and layered a piece of Pansy Petals DSP on top with Seal.

I cut the pansies out directly from the designer series paper with its coordinating die and the leaves as described above.

I needed a grounding point and cut the Layering Circle Die from Basic White Regular CS and stamped the sentiment at the bottom with Evening Evergreen ink.

I winged the placement of my pansies and leaves above the sentiment knowing that I wanted to adhere one of our darling Bumblebee Trinkets close to the sentiment and got everything adhered to the Layering Circle with liquid adhesive.

Between all of this, I laid down a piece of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon to balance everything out.

Once complete, the flowers and leaves where arranged and adhered with a combination of liquid adhesive, as above to the Layering Circle and Stampin’ Dimensionals direct to the card base.

For the final assembly, I adhered the Butterfly Trinket and the In Color Jewels. Again, you can see the amazing texture and dimension with the gift bag and card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
