Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an ensemble of gift bags created from the Pansy Petals Suite Collection and our Ombre Gift Bags.
These bags would be very attractive to hold a larger, bulky card with a gift certificate or whatever else you want to put in the bag.
This is a large suite collection with so many stand-alone dies, which I have used for 2 of the gift bags. The other pansies were cut from the DSP. I used all 4 products from this suite collection for the gift bags.
A lot of the products in the Supplies are deeply discounted due to retiring within the next month. Watch for what carries over, as many of those products are also deeply discounted and will continue without the Bundle price.
The designer series paper and butterfly trinkets are retiring, but the stamp set and die-cuts are not.
You should have seen my work space after these were done. What a mess. I broke out a lot of product and used the 2021-2023 In Colors. On the back cardboard that all of our Designer Series Paper is packaged in, all of the colors in the DSP are listed and not just what is in any given suite collection that you see our publications. For instance, the In Colors for Pansy Petals are shown on page 29. The other colors in the DSP are Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, and Soft Sea Foam.
My inspiration is from a concept art project on page 28 of the Annual Catalog and I pretty much took it from there with my own details.
The DSP and Basic White Regular CS are cut to 2 x 4 and punched at the top. The Basic White tag has the scalloped stitched edge cut from Penned Flowers.
The Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia bags have the pansy, leaves, and flower bud stamped and die-cut from stand-alone dies in the suite, with the tags adhered to the bag with liquid adhesive.
The Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen bags have the leaves die-cut from CS and the flowers were cut from their coordinating die. The tags were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A Butterfly Trinket and In Color Jewels + ribbon were adhered to each bag as embellishments.
I used our Ombre Gift Bags as the base for all of the project and really just alternated the In Colors.
All of the bags were embossed and have a coordinating tag with the Thanks & Hello EF, which are the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Gift Bags.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
