Hello there! I’m a huge fan of open line art images and Perennial Essence Suite (Floral Essence stamp set) has a beautiful combination of both open and closed art.
I only used the stamp set from this beautiful product suite that includes stunning watercolor designer series paper, 3 colors of vellum cardstock, Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon, floral centers, and flower punch.
Today’s card has several different dimensional elements to it of alcohol ink, DistINKtive images, open line art, patterned paper, sequins, felt floral centers, and stenciled on shimmer embossing paste. The designer series paper is from Spring Occasions, which is retired, and it is rare I use anything no longer available to you. The Buffalo Check background stamp would suffice perfectly for this design. The sequins are from Paper Pumpkin, where you always have extra for your stash and is such a valuable investment.
I stamped 4 leaf images from Rooted in Nature with Soft Sea Foam ink and die-cut them out with the coordinating die from Nature’s Root. The flower images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, sprinkled with the new Shimmer Black Embossing Powder and colored in with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The images were then fussy cut and I adhered a fabric Perennial Essence Floral Center to the middle.
I stamped the sentiment onto the image panel and adhered the DSP first and then applied the stencil and embossing paste to the cardstock with a palette knife. The flowers were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I tucked in the leaves under the flowers adding a few clear sequins to play off the shimmer embossing paste.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by to visit. Have a great day and God bless.
