Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project created from the Poinsettia Place Suite die-cuts. We will be using this incredibly versatile suite for tomorrow’s video tutorial and I hope that you join me.
This card is one of the more detailed cards I made with this suite, outside of the Creative Corner Community, that I invite you to join. I have been featuring cards there weekly over the course of this year. This card only has the sentiments stamps and the rest is die-cut from the detailed dies in this suite. There is so much to do with this suite that I don’t think I will ever utilize it fully. As always, your Shopping List is below and measurements are in this post.
I started out with a Blushing Bride A2, top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 card base and layered on a piece of the vellum and felt specialty DSP that is included in the suite on top of the card base. The poinsettias were die-cut from Blushing Bride and Real Red cardstock of the small, medium, and large petals +2 of the stand-alone dies with the stamen’s die-cut from Bumblebee. The poinsettias were layered in an alternating manner as shown and were built up using Glue Dots. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the poinsettias to be laid down last after assembling the rest of the card.
For the leaves, I die-cut 2 each of the from Soft Sea Foam and Old Olive cardstock. I layered these pieces on top of 4 die-cut leaves from Pool Party to add more color and dimension, on top of the embossed petals … which is how the dies are manufactured with the detailed lines. I adhered the green leaves shifted to the right a little to the Pool Party leaves with Seal+.
I die-cut the tag from the North Pole Wonder Dies from Regular Whisper White cardstock and did the arranging thing on top of the card base with the tag placed where I wanted it to go so I knew where to stamp the sentiments on the tag in Real Red ink. I die-cut the scallop edge from Stitched Be Mine from Pool Party cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of the tag from North Pole Wonder Dies. I adhered the tag with Seal+ to the card base where I wanted it.
After I figured it all out, I adhered the leaves with Seal+ directly to the base of the card with the poinsettias on top, still with the release paper on the back of the Stampin’ Dimensionals for placement. I removed the release paper and secured the poinsettias to the card front.
I added 2 large and 3 small Artistry Blooms Sequins in Rich Razzleberry scattered about the card front.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. It really is easy to make. There’s just a bit of busywork to keep your hands busy with die-cutting and assembling. As usual, there is great texture and dimension on this card with mixing and matching our products from this suite and incorporating other items from our product line.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
