Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a notecard designed with Texture Chic and Sending Smiles Bundles.
There was a lot of die-cutting with this project in fun rainbow colors, especially considering the occasion, which nobody really likes to deal with.
For texture and dimension, I used the silver and gold splatter that I made to break up the white space and adhered the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Texture Chic is a 2-step stamping and die-cut suite collection. On some of the leaves, I used the darker color for the veins and the lighter colors for the other leaves.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with a notecard card base and cut the image panel to size.
I used a paintbrush to splatter on my silver and gold, then set aside to let dry to die-cut my leaves and veins.
For the color of cardstock that I used for each leaf, the solid leaf color will be listed first and the vein second.
- Polished Pink, Melon Mambo.
- Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral.
- Crushed Curry, So Saffron.
- Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide.
- Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape.
I used liquid adhesive to adhere the die-cut veins to the leaves and added 2 Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of each leaf.
I stamped the sentiments from the Sending Smiles Bundle with Versamark onto Basic Black CS, heat set with white embossing powder, and then cut from their coordinating dies.
For final assembly, I arranged the leaves on the card and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiments were adhered to the leaves with a combination of Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid adhesive.
I tied a bow with my favorite Black & White Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
