Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a clean and simple card created from the new Rock & Roll Suite Collection. This one is a great adult retro combination (especially when your BF is an engineer by day and a musician by night) with all black and white designer series paper that you can color, fun embellishments, a stamp set, and coordinating die-cuts … and also great for kids. The colors are in this suite collection are Black and White with Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana embellishments. You can find this suite collection on pages 54-55 in the Spring Catalog.
I mixed black and silver embossing powder together to get a bit of glimmer on the retro mics and banner sentiment.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with a Basic White Thick CS base and layered on a piece of Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper that was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I then went about mixing my embossing powder, stamping and die-cutting. The microphones were stamped onto Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana CS with Memento Tuxedo Black and heat embossed with my powder potion, as was the sentiment; all of which were cut from their coordinating dies.
For final assembly, the images and sentiment were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The self-adhesive lightning and stars were used to embellish.
