Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from the new Saint Nicholas Bundle and a new coordinating Online Exclusive item of Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper.
The die-cuts from Saint Nicholas Dies cut out 2 of the Santa images in the designer series paper, as shown on today’s project. I also brought in a piece of DSP from Them Bones, which is our Halloween designer series paper this year. The sentiment was stamped onto Bubble Bath CS for a pop of color.
This was such an easy and fun card to make and honestly, another card|sketch I’m kicking around for my personal Christmas cards this year. If you’d like one, send me an email!
You can find this fabulous bundle on pages 10 -11 in the Holiday Catalog. The standalone dies are fabulous and offer endless creative possibilities.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with my Basic White Thick CS card base and cut my designer series paper to size, then the Basic Black CS, and stamped the sentiment onto Bubble Bath CS with Memento Tuxedo Black ink from Saint Nicholas, and then cut to size.
I die-cut the Santa from Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper with the Saint Nicholas Dies and also cut another of the same from Basic White Regular CS. You do not need to add supporting CS to our DSP cuts, but I just do this because I’m neurotic. I adhered the Santa DSP cuts together with liquid adhesive.
I cut a 3-leaf cluster from Saint Nicholas Dies out of Old Olive CS with the berries cut from Real Red CS that I adhered to the leaves with liquid adhesive.
For final assembly, I adhered everything in a specific order.
The Traditions of St. Nick DSP was adhered with Seal Adhesive.
I tucked the piece of Basic Black CS up under Them Bones DSP leaving 1/4″ shown. This panel was adhered to the top of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I put 3 Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the sentiment strip and tucked that up under the Basic Black CS towards the right of the card.
Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the back of the Santa and adhered.
Lastly, I cut several Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals in half and adhered them to the back of the leaves that was then adhered to the top right of the card.
I do plan on adding a bit of bling to this.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
