Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a clean and simple Sympathy Card created with the Birds & Branches Bundle.
This is a fantastic bundle that I’ve had on board for quite some time now and decided to formally introduce it to you today. I created today’s project with a fresh spring color palette. The DisINKtive 2-step stamps, as you see below, are perfect for tone-on-tone images or even overlaying a light gray on top for even more dimension.
The Birds & Branches Bundle includes the Birds & Branches Stamp Set and the Birds & More Dies.
BIRDS & BRANCHES PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
Birds, branches, eggs, and nest images coordinate with Birds & More Dies to help you create Mother’s Day, friend, or all-occasion projects with 19 photopolymer stamps.
BIRDS & MORE DIES
Create custom die-cut birds, flowers, and nature scenes using the Birds & More Dies. Pair the dies with the coordinating Birds & Branches Stamp Set for more creative options. There are 16 dies with the largest die spanning 3″.
Our craft bundles make coordination easy. Stamp & tool bundles help you quickly cut out stamped images for a single project or create multiples of the same project with ease.
Since I blog weeks in advance, there are 2 products that I used for this card that are not listed in the Supplies, that are available to you now and linked in the next sentence. The Painted Texture EF (154317), is part of the Fine Art Floral Suite Collection (155982) from the Spring Catalog and Heal Your Heart (155291) stamp set for the sentiment is from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.
This is a perfect project for new papercrafters or a class.
I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Coastal Cabana card base. A piece of Regular Whisper White/Basic White CS was cut to 4 x 5-1/2 and I stamped the sentiment on with Memento Tuxedo Black at the lower right of the CS. I ran this through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the new Painted Texture EF and adhered it to the card base with Seal+.
When you’re stamping the same image in multiple colors, you want to cut your CS to square, i.e., 4-1/4 x 4-1/4. This way, you can clean the stamp and turn your cardstock 90 degrees to stamp in the same image with a different color, and precise overlay/2-step stamping, every single time. I did this for the for my 2-step, tone-on -tone stamping for the bird with the colors listed in the Supplies.
After stamping and die-cutting my bird images, I adhered 2 Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the birds. I adhered the Coastal Cabana at the top and the Pear Pizzazz at the bottom, then worked my way to the middle with the Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight birds for even spacing and dimension.
I colored in 4 medium Basic Pearl Jewels with a Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend and adhered these over the eyes of the birds.
That is how simple this card was created. I also used the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to die-cut the birds. The fresh colors are a very welcome reprieve from fall and winter projects.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.

Pretty designs in this bundle! I hadn’t noticed this set before. I am liking that embossing folder a lot too!
