Simple Watercoloring with Re-inkers

Hello there! Today’s card features the winter favorite of First Frost, Incredible Like You, and More Than Words, paired with fresh, spring colors.

I love this sentiment from More Than Words and wanted to mix it up with almost an attitude of confusion (dripping watercolor) to the calmness of flowers. That was actually Plan B after the unplanned watercolor drips. I used Balmy Blue and Highland Heather reinkers on watercolor paper with an AquaPainter.

The Granny Apple Green foliage is from Incredible Like you, which is also a DistINKtive stamp set like First Frost. I interchange all DistINKtive stamp sets to get my desired effect. The flowers were stamped in Grapefruit Grove and Pineapple Punch, and cut out with their coordinating framelits. In the center of the flowers, I added a small dot with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. They are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The black dot, sentiment, and baker’s twine are all Basic Black.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit. Have a great day and God bless. I’ll see you back tomorrow for another Simple Stamping video.
