Snail Mail Suite Collection + Coloring with Stampin’ Blends & Sewing

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an adorably cute project created with the Snail Mail Suite Collection, coloring with Stampin’ Blends, and a little sewing.

When I moved to Missouri from California a few years ago, my 25-year-old Singer sewing machine made it partially out, so I gave up sewing on cardstock, until now. I was upset about that, as it was the same machine that I used to sew the family Christmas ornaments and custom lace curtains when my 4 kids were little in our Ionia Hamlet 1861 farmhouse.

To compensate years later, I was able to purchase a Brother Project Runway Limited Edition and love it. The bobbin is a no-brainer and even better, this one threads herself. It’s perfect for my aging eyes at an excellent price point of less than $200. Before I made my decision of what to invest in, I went to several local sewing machine establishments to see if I could thread a needle. That absolutely was not happening at my age.

I have really missed adding this type of dimension and texture to my projects. As you know, I am a Stampin’ Up! purist; however, I have no issues using anything on my work that has your basic household staples, old book print, office supplies, or a sewing machine. We all have many variations on board at home.

As always, your supply list and measurements are below.

As you can see, this was an incredibly easy card to create and assemble. I’m absolutely hooked on the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack with the black and white twine.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
