SUOC 280: Sneak Peek of Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection + a Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a project created from the new Whimsy & Wonder Suite Collection.

This cleverly designed and non-traditional vintage chic suite collection is one of my favorites that has a cling-mount stamp set, a fantastic set of coordinating die-cuts, designer series paper, frayed grosgrain ribbon, and iridescent foil snowflakes. The coordinating colors are Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Iridescent, and silver.

I brought Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Coastal Cabana, Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon, and Scalloped Contours Dies to accessorize. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out with an A2 Mint Macaron card base. I cut 2 pieces of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper to the measurements and patterns listed below, then corner-rounded the top and bottom. I adhered the 2 pieces of DSP together with a strip of Tear & Tape on the backside, wrapped the ribbon around the center, and bowed at the right. I adhered the DSP panel to the card base with Tear & Tape.

I cut another piece of DSP from the 2nd largest Scalloped Contour die and the image panel from a Basic White Regular. The sentiment from Whimsical Trees was stamped at the top left of the image panel with Misty Moonlight ink. One of the tree images was stamped at the lower bottom left in Mossy Meadow ink with the bulbs filled in using a Light Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The image panel was adhered to the DSP with Seal and adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die-cut 2 of the stand-alone tree dies from Christmas Trees out of a Silver Foil Sheet and adhered these to the right side of the image panel with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The holly berry ornaments were stamped lightly using Smoky Slate ink, colored in with Polished Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends, re-stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, die-cut, and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive at the top left and bottom right corners on the image panel.

Two large and 1 small Coastal Cabana sequins from Artistry Blooms Sequins were scattered about the card front.

This is one of those cards that I really didn’t have a plan for. I just knew that I wanted to play around with this suite. I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
