Hello there! I can’t believe it’s already December! Thank you for joining me today for a project created from the Snowman Magic Bundle, Decorative Pine Dies, and Frosted Flurry Dies + Snowflake Specialty Vellum Paper. You can fine the Snowman Magic Bundle on page 44 of the Holiday Catalog.
This is such a warm and fuzzy card with the felt snowdrops on the vellum paper and Frayed Ribbon; like literally soft with how it feels. This is going out to a GF who really came through for me a few weeks ago.
Right at the very end of final assembly, I had a Fine Tip Glue Pen issue. While this glue dries clear, there was a lot of glue. I grabbed some old clear glitter, sprinkled it over the glue on the far left tree, and let it dry. The rhinestones were added to make it look like it was planned that way. This is what I mean by ‘wing it.’
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with an A2 Basic White Thick CS base and layered on the Night of Navy CS mat with Seal.
I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to size and put an Adhesive Sheet on the CS. I cut the Snowflake Specialty Vellum Paper to size and layered that atop of the Basic White CS. This panel was adhered to the card base with Seal.
I cut 3 trees in Snowman Dies from Night of Navy CS. These dies are part of the Snowman Magic Bundle.
As you know, I’m a huge fan of mixing and matching our product line to achieve my vision.
I cut the largest sprig in Decorated Pines Dies from Vellum Paper.
The snowflake was also cut from Vellum Paper using the Frosted Flurry Dies.
The sentiment from Snowman Magic was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Basic White Regular CS and cut to size.
For final assembly, I laid everything out to arrange and then cut a length of White Frayed Ribbon, added 2 strips of Tear & Tape to the back, and then adhered this to the card base. The sentiment was adhered above the ribbon using Seal Adhesive.
The trees, sprig, and snowflake were all adhered with the Fine Tip Glue Pen to about 2/3 up leaving the tops free flowing. This is where I had my happy glue accident and sprinkled the glitter to cover it, which really worked out perfectly.
Three Rhinestone Basic Jewels were scattered to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
