Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a card created from the Sophisticated Sled Bundle, Countryside Corners Dies, and Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper.
First, I’d like to apologize for no Facebook Live on Wednesday or a video today. Time, once again, got past me, and I still have not received my Paper Pumpkin Kits. Next Wednesday, I will do a kit unboxing with you and make the kit cards during a FB Live and on Saturday, I will share with you the alternatives via You Tube Video.
I broke out the Stampin’ Blends and did some coloring. The Countryside Corners Dies that were used for the image panel and sentiment worked perfectly. I embossed the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder to incorporate more of a winter vibe into a scripty and geometrical paper pattern.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with an A2 top-folding Pecan Pie card base of 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 and layered on a piece of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper that was cut to 4 x 5-1/2. The gold leaf pattern card base band was cut from the same DSP to 4-1/4 x 1 and adhered with Seal.
I cut the 2nd largest Countryside Corner Die from Nature’s Sweetness DSP and embossed that with Snowflake Sky 3D EF that was adhered with liquid adhesive.
Next, I stamped the sled from Sophisticated Sled with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a piece of Basic White Thick CS and colored the sled in with a Dark Pebbled Path Stampin’ Blend for the bottom of the sleigh slats with the planks colored with Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends, that was then cut from it’s coordinating Sophisticated Sled Die. I then punched a hole at the top of the sled and threaded through a piece of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon.
The swag image bow was colored with Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends, the berries with a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend, and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends, that was then cut from its coordinating Sophisticated Sled Die.
I cut the smallest solid die from Countryside Corners out of Very Vanilla Regular CS and stamped the sentiment from Sophisticated Sled with Memento Tuxedo Black. This was a perfect fit, as our products are designed that way.
For final assembly, the sled, swag, and sentiment were all adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The pearl embellishments are from a Paper Pumpkin Kit a few months ago that were in my catch-all thingie in front of me.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
