Start with your favorite color of cardstock, use the Splendid Stems Dies to cut out leaves and stems, and add them to your cards and scrapbook pages. There’s even a small bee to buzz through your landscape. There are two kinds of die-cut looks you can achieve with these dies. Use the open dies to cut bold, solid images. Or create delicate, airy die-cuts when you use the thin mono-line dies. You get two looks from one set of dies!

Today’s card features the stunning standalone die-cuts in Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sea Foam, Blackberry Bliss, and Shaded Spruce. The half moon ‘planter’ was cut from the suite’s DSP garnished with the so easy to work with Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon.

I started out with a Soft Sea Foam A2 card base and layered on a piece of the Splendid Day Specialty Designer Series Paper with liquid adhesive. We call this ‘specialty’ because there are foiling accents and raised lines, much like heat embossing, on the paper.
I cut the Old Olive CS mat and layered on another piece of our DSP using liquid adhesive.
I started my die-cutting from the fabulously large Splendid Stems Dies from Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sea Foam, Blackberry Bliss, and Shaded Spruce CS.
The Sahara Sand planter was cut from the DSP.
For final assembly, I arranged my cuts onto the image panel and adhered the large Soft Sea Foam stem with liquid adhesive, followed by the Shaded Spruce stem on the right, Blackberry Bliss stem in the middle, and the Pear Pizzazz stem to the left.
I adhered the half moon planter with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Olive Olive/DSP image panel and adhered that to the card base.
One large and 2 small Brushed Brass Butterflies were scattered about the card front.
A Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon bow was adhered to the center top of the planter with a Mini Glue Dot.
This was super easy to make with endless color opportunities.
