Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for an adorable Halloween card created with the Cute Halloween Suite Collection and Frightful Tag Dies, for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge 287, where we are using our favorite Holiday Catalog products, and hope that you join us! I went really non-traditional with the colors here and love the way this turned out, and hope that you do, too. Today, this is my favorite Suite Collection, so versatile, and I’ve made so many fun projects with this suite and Frightfully Cute.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions, with measurements, are listed below.
I started out with an A2 top-folding Basic White Thick CS for the base of my card. I cut a piece of Black Glitter Paper to use as a mat for the Blushing Bride Subtles 6 x 6 DSP. I took the spider web die-cut from Frightful Tags Die and cut that from the middle of the DSP mat. I added Tear & Tape to the back of the glitter paper and adhered this to the center of the Basic White Thick card base.
I cut a piece of Blushing Bride Subtles 6 x 6 DSP in the plaid pattern to ground the images and sentiment. I cut a piece of Vellum CS and bannered the bottom using the angled die and centered up my sentiment from Cutest Halloween using my Stamparatus, then stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black, covered it with our clear embossing powder, then heat set.
How I measured the banner first was to cut my photopolymer image sentiment up into 3 lines to get my width, which was 1-1/2″ across, cut the Vellum CS with my die with the triangular peak at the 3/4″ mark so it was perfectly centered. I figured out where I wanted to place the vellum, gently folded the top of the vellum over for a light crease, trimmed the excess off, then adhered over with a piece of Tear & Tape. I used Tear & Tape again to adhered the Blushing Bride Subtles DSP to the Black Glitter Paper. Tear & Tape is easier to use when you’re using certain types of specialty paper. You will know it when you see it and feel it which adhesive to use.
I stamped out 2 line art image ghosts with Memento Tuxedo Black onto Basic White CS and the solid ghost image with Smoky Slate onto Basic White CS. I stamped the little ghost faces in Memento Tuxedo Black onto all of the ghosts and then punched them out with the coordinating Halloween punch in the suite collection.
To assemble the card, I added a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the spider web in the center and used part of that to adhere the vellum sentiment panel down. The ghosts were also adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 3 large Silver Epoxy Essentials to embellish the card and use as decorative adhesive to keep the vellum sentiment panel down.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
