Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #343 | Color Challenge

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #343, where we have a color challenge featuring the colors from the Bee Mine Suite Collection in the Spring Catalog, and hope that you join us!

I’m featuring Annual Catalog products today and used 2 colors in the Bee Mine Suite Collection on pages 8-10 in the Spring Catalog of Sweet Sorbet and Pool Party. The colors included in this suite collection are:

The image panels were blended in an ombre pattern with Sweet Sorbet and the flowers are lightly color blended with Pool Party. Metallics were used to embellish and on the sentiment.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with a Basic White Thick CS base. I then brought in a large Blending Brush and starting ink blending Sweet Sorbet ink up from the bottom to the top in an ombre pattern. I splattered Silver Metallic Enamel Effects Basics with a Water Painter. I heat set this panel on low to dry the splatters and Sweet Sorbet ink. I ran the inked panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder and cut into 3 panels, which were adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

Next, I splattered Black Enamel Effects Basics onto a piece of Basic White Regular CS, heat set, then cut two large sprigs from Meadow Dies that were adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from Wonderful Thoughts in Versamark ink, heat set in gold powder, and cut from its coordinating die that was then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, the card was embellished with Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.
