Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #362 | CASE The Catalog | Page 34

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #362 where our challenge is to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) The Catalog on page 34 of the Holiday Mini featuring the stunning Regal Winter Suite Collection that I’ve been really wanting to play with lately. Don’t let the name of this suite collection fool you into thinking this is for winter only. This can go wedding, Christmas, literally any occasion that you want. I kept this card monochromatic and went off the top middle Concept Art card as my CASE.

When you CASE a project, you simply use the colors, sketch, and change at least 3 things to make it your own.

Today’s colors are Wild Wheat, Early Espresso, and Basic Beige. There are a lot of amazing designer series paper patterns in this suite collection and I plan on creating a class out of these products for you in the near future.

As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.

I started out with an A2 top-folding Early Espresso card base and layered a piece of Regal Winter DSP on top with Seal Adhesive.

I then went about my stamping and die-cutting.

First, I cut a piece of white and gold Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty DSP to about 3-3/4 x 1/2″ that was adhered to the bottom 1/3-ish to the base with liquid adhesive.

I used the frame Regal Flora Dies to cut from Basic Beige CS and stamped the sentiment from Regal Flora with Early Espresso ink. This cut comes out with an outline frame and large frame. I did have to adhere them together on the back with Scotch tape. Black Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to adhere the sentiment frame to the card.

Next, I stamped the single flower and bud onto Very Vanilla CS with Wild Wheat and Early Espresso that was then cut from their coordinating dies. These were adhered to the top right of the frame with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals and a little bit of liquid adhesive.

Lastly, I adhered a Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dot to the center of the flower.

I tied a bow with my favorite Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon and adhered this to the bottom left of the frame with a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!

  1. Lovely card, Cindy! I haven’t cut into that particular pattern from the Regal Winter DSP yet but you’ve made it shine here. I think that paper is trying real hard to make me like Wild Wheat ; )
