Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #366, where our challenge has a theme of All That Glitters, and hope that you join us. This is a really fun and easy challenge.
I apologize for almost no content during Thanksgiving week or Saturday video. I was sicker than a dog that just ruined all of my plans.
Today’s shaker card is from the adorable Snowy Scenes Suite Collection in the Holiday Catalog. I only have one picture today. I have a terrible time photographing blue in the winter for some reason.
I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Garden Green card base and then cut a piece of Snowy Wonder DSP to 4 x 5-1/4.
From the cut DSP, I used the elongated globe die-cut from Snowy Wonder to cut that shape in about center top to bottom and left to right. I lined up the DSP and cutout onto the Garden Green card base to inlay the globe cutout that was adhered directly to the card base with liquid adhesive.
A piece of 3 x 3-1/2 Window Sheet was cut and adhered to the back of the DSP with household tape.
On top of the inlay globe only, a bit of glitter from my stash + White Loose Snowflakes from the suite collection were laid on top as the shaker “guts.”
I boxed in the globe on the backside of the DSP to house my shaker elements with Foam Adhesive Strips and again around the edges of the DSP, that was then securely adhered over the inlaid globe and “guts.”
I cut the snow globe base from plaid DSP and adhered this at the bottom of the globe with liquid adhesive.
I cut a penguin from the DSP that was adhered to the left side of the globe with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped onto Poppy Parade CS with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder, which was then cut from a Stitched Rectangle square (retired), and adhered to the top right of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, one of the snowflake embellishments was adhered to the top left of the sentiment panel with liquid adhesive.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
