Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges, SUOC260, where we are celebrating birthdays! We hope that you join us.
I took the new Poinsettia Petals Suite Collection in an entirely different direction with one leaf and turned it into a fall card representing mum petals. That is how versatile our products are with your creative imagination. The Rock ‘n Roll technique was used on the leaf to create the petals alternating colors. The stamen is stamped off several times with Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider using images from Painted Poppies. The sentiment is from Celebration Tidings.
Linen Thread and Pearl Basic Jewels colored in with our Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend were used to embellish the card. The Poppy Parade 6 x 6 DSP makes this card especially bold and could even be considered a masculine card. Vellum cardstock was used as a mat for the image and sentiment panel to soften up the boldness just a little for cohesiveness.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
