Sunny Splash Fun Summer Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a fun summer card created with the Sunny Splash stamp set on page 41 of the Annual Catalog … and it’s also what I’m doing today.

This is just the cutest stamp set and while there are no coordinating die-cuts, I fussy cut all of the swimsuits, which was so easy to do.

I’m going to send this to my GF who always invites me over to her pool. Good times!

I brought in Lights Aglow Designer Series Paper, Penned Flowers Dies, Timeworn Type EF, 5 colors of ink, and 4 packages of embellishments for this sunny color project.

I started out with an A2 card base in Basic White Thick CS. I cut the Basic White Regular CS to size and ran it through the Timeworn Type EF.

I pulled out the Lights Aglow DSP for the scallop edge cut from Penned Flowers Dies.

I then stamped a partial sentiment onto Basic Black CS with Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. Note, I did not cut the sentiment to size until the final assembly process.

I stamped the swimsuits using the bright colors in the Supplies and fussy cut them out with Paper Snips.

I adorned the front of the suits with various embellishments for a little fun bling and added 2 Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the suits.

Like I said, this was super easy to make.

For final assembly, I adhered the Lights Aglow scalloped edge under the embossed image panel with liquid adhesive making sure the stitch line was visible. Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the image panel that was adhered to the far right of the card base.

I arranged the bathing suits on the image panel as desired and adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I cut the sentiment to size and tucked it under the lower suit with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
