Hello there y’all. I really hope this goes up. I’m horrible at keeping up with social media, really horrible, so nothing is ever updated. I got software to help me with that to autopost. Let’s just say that it’s a story and here I am … back with a twofer to finish out the Making Christmas Bright Week. I hosted Thanksgiving for my family and got a puppy. It’s been busy fun. Today’s card is for the Christmas challenge at SUO Challenges. #SUOC212
We are also having a 2019 Design Team Call. There will be a page at the challenge site listing what is entailed and challenge obligations. If you choose to apply to the Design Team, please put DT after your name with entry.
This card has a great mix of designer series paper, heat embossing, die-cuts, wood accents, hand drawn accents, sparkle, and ribbon. I’ve created a lot of projects with the Making Christmas Bright Product Suite and the potential is still untapped.
This card has a Crumb Cake base, Early Espresso scallop accent from Seasonal Layers Thinlets, All Is Bright Designer Series Paper, Real Red 3/8″ Mixed Satin Ribbon, and the Festive Farmhouse Elements (wood Christmas Trees with Wink of Stella). I drew in shade lines with a white gel pen.
The string and socket were laid down with Early Espresso ink and the bulbs are Real Red. The sentiment is alternately stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with gold powder and Early Espresso. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to round the top corners. The All Is Bright Designer Series Paper is used on the top part of the card with an accent strip above the Early Espresso scallop. This is a great way to use up your DSP.
The image panel is on Stampin’ Dimensionals. We do hope that you will join in on the challenge and throw your entry into the Design Team call. Thank you so much for stopping by today to visit. Have a great day and God bless.
Love this card! Awesome string of lights!
