SUOC 262: Thanksgiving

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge 262, where we are celebrating Thanksgiving and hope that you join us!

Today is the last day to subscribe to the November 2020 Paper Pumpkin of Jolly Gingerbread, so be sure to do that.

Make the Holidays Sweet!!

Stampin’ Up! has baked up something special for the November Paper Pumpkin! Make the Christmas season a little sweeter with the Jolly Gingerbread kit! This box is filled with enough supplies to create one-of-a-kind Christmas crafts!

Whether it’s a gift card holder, traditional card, or tasty-looking tag, this sweet and seasonal kit is the key to heartfelt holiday gifting. With curly cutouts, sugary stickers, and delicious die-cut designs in a special-edition box, a jolly holiday will be on its way with this kit!

I am so grateful to be back on schedule this week. It’s been a ride for sure. I moved from 3300 sf to 900 sf. It was an extremely busy process, but an extremely liberating one as well with the significant downsizing. I am in minimalist heaven! I’m never doing this again.

Over this past weekend, many of us attended Stampin’ Up! OnStage, which is our annual event. This year, due to COVID, it was held remote. I got a peak of the Spring and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs. They’re both delightful and there’s a few suites that I have my eye on. I’ve already picked my favorite!

For my project today, I used one of the new stamp sets in the Spring Catalog of Enjoy the Moment. This is a cling mount set that will be available to you on January 5.

The images on this card that were fussy cut are from Enjoy the Moment. The images are wildflower in nature and can easily be colored.

I started with a top-folding A2, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Thick Whisper White cardstock base and covered it with a piece of In Good Taste DSP. I cut a piece of Regular Whisper White cardstock to 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the Scripty 3D EF. I used a sponge dauber lightly inked with Crushed Curry ink to shade in parts of this panel. I used my Bone Folder to curl up the left edge of the cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card base with Seal+.

I stamped the 3 buds in Saddle Brown Staz-On and filled in with a Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil that was blended out with a Blender Pen. The large image was colored in with Mint Macaron and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Markers and also blended out with a Blender Pen. The sentiment image was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink. I die-cut a Crumb Cake label from Tasteful Labels Dies and stamped the sentiment to the right of the die-cut with Soft Suede ink from Celebration Tidings.

The images and sentiment were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and embellished with Linen Thread under the sentiment panel and scattered 3 In Good Taste Elements with Liquid Adhesive.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and join the challenge.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
