Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge 276, where we are using our favorite stamp set that is current, retired or retiring, and hope that you join us.
I chose the retiring Pretty Perennials Bundle with the True Love DSP, both of which are only available until June 30, 2020, all of which are deeply discounted.
I started out with a top-folding A2 Basic White Thick card base and layered on a piece of diagonal stripe True Love DSP on the left side.
My flowers are stamped in spring pastel colors as shown from the Pretty Perennials Bundle, cut with their coordinating dies, arranged, and adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals for the leaves and flowers with the stamens adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.
The leaves were stamped in Mint Macaron with a 2-step image of solid and line art for the vein. This is one of our patented Distinktive images that create different opacities in a single stamped image.
This project was very easy to create. I scattered about several white Elegant Faceted Gems. I love the texture these little gems provide for a great tone-on-tone look.
We would love for you to join us at our card challenge!
Soooo … it was a day when I wrote this post … this is the 2nd time I’ve rescued a baby bunny from the jowls of the neighborhood cat tramp. The first time he got the baby, he was on my back porch and it was a quick grab from the mouth. This time, I had to chase the cat around the neighborhood, to the point where cars saw what I was doing, stopped, and cheered me on. That was an experience. I got the baby bunny and removed the ticks and other parasites he had picked up along the way off before I let him loose in the backyard when I saw older bunnies eating.
A few hours later, my GF and I went to a local restaurant for their cauliflower crust pizza. It arrived piping hot, and, of course, when I started to sprinkle parmesan cheese on top, we became the victims of a cruelly hilarious joke as somebody had loosened the lid and the entire contents came spilling out on the pizza. All we could do was bust up laughing. Everybody around us saw it happen and started to check their parm cheese lids and laughing with us. Our waiter got us another pizza.
Afterwards, I decided to go home and commiserate with Addison Forbes Montgomery rather than take my chances.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
