Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a new challenge at SUOChallenges.com. Our theme is to mark it up with all of our coloring products, i.e., Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils, etc. I really had fun with this challenge and we hope that you join us.
I used our Watercolor Pencils with our Blender Pens for this challenge in Old Olive, Night of Navy, and Early Espresso to color the boat. I used Sailing Home with Smooth Sailing Dies + Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper. As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.
I started out with an A2 Thick Basic White card base and layered on a piece of Sahara Sand with the sand pattern from Sand & Sea DSP as for my image panel, all of which were adhered with Stampin’ Seal.
For my “ocean,” I cut a piece of Sand & Sea DSP in the wavy blue pattern with the largest Layering Circle die. At the bottom of this where the boat is resting, I used a Sponge Dauber loaded up with Balmy Blue ink to darken this up a bit to ground the boat.
Soft Suede CS was used to cut the wheel from Smooth Sailing Dies. The sentiment was white heat embossed and cut with the frame from the dies, which fit the sentiment perfectly. The birds were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
For the sun, I used the steering wheel looking die from Warm Wraps Dies to cut my sun from Daffodil Delight CS. I took a Sponge Dauber with Daffodil Delight ink and inked up the edges.
The images and sentiment were all adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
