SUOC 278: Name Your Game

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUOC 278, Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges, where we are having the theme of Name Your Game. This means using your initials for a personal card set or gift set, monograms, etc. Please join us!

I’m still using up my retiring designer series paper and chose Hydrangea Hill for these 3 x 3 mini cards + envelopes, all of which were so easy to create in just minutes.

These little mini cards fill so many communication voids + gift giving ideas to your family and friends for any occasion. I made these for myself as the perfect substitute for Post-It Notes that I leave for my family when they puppy-sit my Jezebel. It’s also great to have your first initial match your last initial.

As always, your Supplies and Instructions are below.

I started out by cutting Basic White Thick CS to 3 x 6 and scored at 3 to create my mini card base of a top-folding 3 x 3. I cut the Hydrangea Hill DSP to 3 x 3 in coordinating patterns and adhered to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack in Basic White Faux Linen Ribbon and Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon + Blue Adhesive-Backed Games were used to accent and embellish these little notes.

The large dotted circle from Tasteful Labels was cut with coordinating CS to my designer series paper. The smaller circle from Tasteful Labels was cut from Basic White regular. I cut the ‘C’ from Playful Alphabet in the same color as the large dotted circle, all of which were adhered to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, with the exception of the large dotted circle that was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of the ribbon arrangements, which were secured with a bit of Seal.

I did cheat a little using retired Seaside Spray CS for the lower row middle card. Misty Moonlight is an easy substitute, as well.

This is a fantastic way to use up your retiring or current DSP + an extremely cost-effective little something to gift.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
