SUOC #328 | Flowers | So Refreshing Bundle

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #328 where our theme is flowers and hope that you join us.

The So Refreshing Bundle is a wonderfully designed 2-step stamp set with line art and solid images with a ton of stand-alone die to embellish your projects with, such as the picnic blanket you see that’s grounding my images. I plan on using this with the Little Dreamers Bundle as a baby blanket.

I know this card is mainly citrus with one bunch of flowers when the focus should be flowers. I’m cutting myself a break here because I managed to contract COVID round 2 at the time of this writing, which is May 19.

I brought in the Sweet Citrus EF that coordinates beautifully with the So Refreshing Bundle. Today’s colors are Lemon Lolly, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, and Blueberry Bushel.

I started out with my card base and cut the Balmy Blue CS to size that was run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Sweet Citrus EF. I used my Bone Folder to round up the edges and adhered the panel to the card base with liquid adhesive.

I then went about all of my stamping and die-cutting. I stamped off the images with the flowers and leaves with full strength on the line art.

1. Lemon and lemonade: Lemon Lolly.
2. Greenery: Granny Apple Green.
3. Flowers: Balmy Blue.
4. Picnic blanket: Blueberry Bushel Glorious Gingham DSP.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and cut from the smallest Countryside Corners Dies.

For final assembly, the picnic blanket was adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.

The pitcher, flowers, and lemon slice were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the leaves in liquid adhesive.

The lemonade glasses were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals with the leaves in liquid adhesive.

The sentiment was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Brass Butterflies used to embellish.
