SUOC #331 | Use Your Favorite Color Combination

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #331 where we our theme is to simply create with your favorite color combination and hope that you join us!

I chose the above color combination for today’s challenge. It’s a great fall pallet and one that I will come back to as that season approaches. They all played together nicely for this project.

The Darling Details Bundle and Charming Sentiments stamp set with its coordinating Sentiment Silhouette Dies + Stitched Greenery Die were used to create this card.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I started out with my Smoky Slate card base and cut the image panel to size, embossed it with the Stitched Greenery Die, and adhered it to the card base with Seal Adhesive.

I then went about stamping my images from the Darling Details Bundle onto Basic White Regular CS using Highland Heather for the large flowers, Pumpkin Pie for the small flowers, and Pretty Peacock for the leaves. This is a 2-step stamp set so I had the solid image to stamp first with the outlined atop. All of the images were cut from their coordinating Darling Details Dies.

My sentiment from Charming Sentiments was stamped onto Basic Black CS with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with white powder, then cut from its coordinating Sentiments Silhouettes Die-Cut.

For final assembly, I laid a piece of Tear & Tape towards the upper 1/3 of the card and weaved my Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon over that. Stampin’ Dimensionals were adhered to the back of my images and sentiment, which were then arranged on the card front and embellished with Brushed Brass Butterflies.
