Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #369 where we have a color challenge using Valentine’s Day colors + Let’s Craft & Create Challenge #216 with the same theme, and hope that you join us. I wish I had thrown a few purples in this challenge so please don’t let that stop you.
For today’s project, I’m using the Marbled Elegance Suite Collection from the latest Online Exclusives Release, for this easy stamps, ink, and paper card, along with a simple inlay technique. The colors used are Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Poppy Parade.
As always, project specific supplies with basic supplies are below.
I started out with an A2 top-folding 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 Poppy Parade card base. My Basic White Regular CS image panel was cut to 3-7/8 x 5-1/2 with a 3/4″ x 3-7/8 piece of Marbled Elegance Specialty Designer Paper adhered to the top of the image panel.
I used the 2nd largest open-faced heart from Hearts of Elegance Dies to cut a heart out of the image panel.
Next, I inlaid the heart back into the heart die-cut and stamped the flower around the heart x3 in Flirty Flamingo ink. The leaves were stamped in Petal Pink around the flowers with the sentiments stamped in Poppy Parade.
The image panel was adhered to the card base with Seal with the die-cut heart adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly, I tied a bow with the Gold Twisted Thread from the suite collection and adhered this to the heart with a Mini Glue Dot.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
