Hello there! Another challenge is up at SUO Challenges (#SUOC220) of Designer’s Choice, meaning create whatever you want, and we hope that you join us. Well, we all know what I’m working with and this one surprised me with the end result. It’s clean enough, but there’s a lot of texture and dimension going on.
The scripty font from Handwritten was impressed onto the ‘amazing’ die-cut with Basic Gray that you can see in person. It was difficult to pick it up on camera. Balmy Blue, Cajun Craze, and Soft Sea Foam is an interesting color combination that surprisingly worked and was a very happy accident.
I used a panel of Whisper White cut to 5-1/4 x 4, dry embossed with the Subtle folder, which impresses a gorgeous linen-like texture, and adhered to the top left. A 1″ strip of Neutrals DSP grounds the florals. I added a Basic Black thread nest and took a sponge lightly inked with Basic Gray and rubbed it over the Whisper White to detract from the starkness. All of the images are on Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope that you enjoyed today’s project and will join us over at SUO Challenges. Thank you for much for stopping by to visit. Have a great day and God bless.
