Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUOC236 where we are featuring handmade embellishments.
This project is detailed with multiple embellishments, especially the heat embossed focal die-cut onto a Gold Foil Sheet. I have the measurements below for you, but in the meantime, I will build up the card for you. I’ve combined several stamp sets and dies today. I started with a Thick Very Vanilla CS base and adhered gingham and script DSP from the 6 x 6 Neutrals DSP pack in Mossy Meadow. I die-cut a stitched rectangle out of Merry Merlot and adhered that on top of the DSP. This is where I completely blow the SUO part and tied white seam binding ribbon around the DSP and CS into a bow. By now I’m committed, over it, and have forgiven myself.
I stamped a corner image onto the Very Vanilla focus panel from Around the Corner with Delicata Gold ink. I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and flicked on black specs using the cap of the marker.
For the Gold Foil Sheet deer, I used the Embossing Buddy first onto the CS and stamped a line floral image with Versamark onto the deer several times and heat embossed with white powder giving it a lot of detail, along with the extra embellishments of sequins, metallic pearls, sprig punched out with a musical note DSP pattern, vellum leaf, flowers, and ribbon. Using a Swiffer cloth really helps with wiping off the Embossing Buddy powder and to keep the foil sheet clean.
I hope you like today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.

The deer is just gorgeous! Beautiful card with pretty layering and details! Love the seam binding ribbon too! Somewhere I have a big roll of it also… now where on earth did I put that? My idea was to dye it with reinkers to match my projects.
