Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for SUOC244, where our challenge today is coloring, and hope that you join us.
I decided to do some watercoloring to achieve an ombre effect for the image panel. I do wish I had angled the Blackberry Bliss leaves more so they’re not so even. There’s a lot of texture and dimension in this card with the watercolor background, gingham DSP, textured die-cut leaves, and heat embossed flower. The supplies and instructions are for you below.
When I watercolored this image panel, I knew where I wanted color, and took a clean large brush Aqua Painter to the watercolor card stock to shape it out. I used a drop of the re-inker on a large clear block to achieve the color that I wanted, then applied it to the wet watercolor card stock to let the ink work its way around with some help. This is such an easy sketch and the color combinations are endless.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
