Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge #318 with a black and white theme, and we hope that you join us!
In the Wisteria Wishes Bundle from the Annual Catalog on page 92 that I am featuring today has 10 photopolymer stamps with die-cuts that will cut every image + standalone dies with 2-step stamping, in our exclusive DistINKtive images.
Perfectly Penciled DSP is a black and white go-to staple. You have great geometrics on one side with line art on the other that you can use any coloring medium with.
I’m also a huge fan of mixed fonts with sentiments.
Today’s colors are Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate, and Basic Gray. I love creating the unexpected with non-traditional colors.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with a Smoky Slate card base and cut the DSP, Pear Pizzazz CS from Penned Flowers Dies, and image panel to size.
The DSP on the left was adhered to the card base with liquid adhesive.
I stamped the sentiment onto the image panel at the bottom right in Memento Tuxedo Black and then used a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker to splatter color on using the cap of the marker.
The image panel was then adhered to the Penned Flowers scallop with liquid adhesive.
The image panel was then adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
All of the images were cut from standalone Wisteria Dies from the following:
- Cut 4 leaf sprigs from Pear Pizzazz CS + ink the edges with Pear Pizzazz ink.
- Cut 3 wisterias from Smoky Slate CS + ink the edges with Smoky Slate ink.
- Cut 3 layering wisterias from Basic Gray CS + ink the edges with Basic Gray ink.
For final assembly, the leaves were adhered to the image panel with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Smoky Slate wisterias where adhered to the image panel with Mini Black Stampin’ Dimensionals with the Basic Gray wisterias adhered atop with liquid adhesive.
I tied Black & White Gingham Ribbon into a bow and adhered it to the top left of the image panel with a Mini Glue Dot.
Five Basic Gray and Basic Black Classic Matte Dots were used to further embellish the card, not the sequins that were used. I changed them out at the last minute.
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
