Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a very clean and simple stamping card created with the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle and Hydrangea Haven Designer Series Paper. With the Spring Catalog retiring at the end of the month, I’m using up as much of my designer series paper as possible.
I also want to encourage you to mix and match your products as much as you can. They are all coordinated to work together, no matter what. I incorporated the new Baby Clothes Dies for the heart cut into the Tasteful Labels small stitched circle and large frame for the ice cream cone image panel from Regular Basic White CS.
I took this sketch from a project I created several years ago and updated it. I started out with an A2 Thick Basic White card base, layered on a piece of Highland Heather CS + a layer Highland Heather and Basic White striped pattern from Hydrangea Haven DSP.
This card can be created with any color combination using our designer series paper and exclusive color palette, appealing to any recipient.
An inch to the right of the DSP, I wrapped a length of Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around the Highland Heather CS and Hydrangea Haven DSP that were adhered together with Seal, and then adhered with Seal to the Basic White card base. The bow is a total cheater’s tie and we will get to that later as we are assembling.
The image panel frame and sentiment circle were cut from Tasteful Labels Dies. The sentiment was stamped in Cinnamon Cider towards the top of the circle. I punched a teeny hole at the top of the circle to tie into the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon with Linen Thread. I cut a heart from Baby Clothes at the bottom center of the sentiment circle and adhered a piece of Gorgeous Grape CS behind the heart. I adhered the sentiment circle with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cone was cut from Cinnamon Cider CS, stamped with the criss-cross image in the same color, and adhered to the image frame with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The ice cream scoops were stamped in Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape onto Basic White Regular. The sprinkles on the cones were stamped several times in the same colors onto the scoops so they pop out a little more. The scoops were adhered with full-size Stampin’ Dimensionals. The image panel was adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals, as well. There is a lot of texture and dimension to this project.
I colored several of our Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blend Marker and scattered them about the card to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
