Hello there! Today’s projects are from How Sweet It Is of an 8 x 8 gift box and treat cup.
I literally got bored one day and made about 10 of these deep, super easy, and fantastic 8 x 8 gift boxes. It’s the best way to use up your ribbon and 12 x 12 designer series paper that is approaching retirement on June 3, 2019.
The box is a video tutorial that I will have to make for you, but I love it, and so does everybody who has received one. You will need two pieces of 12 x 12, one of a solid color for the base with the top of designer series paper. All I did was wrap ribbon around the box, stamped a tag, and clipped it to the bow. Everything came from the How Sweet It Is Suite. I love the stand-alone die-cuts in this bundle, which are perfect for shaker cards.
The Sweet Cups are just the cutest things ever. In the picture above, another tag from Sweet Pins & Tags was used with die-cut candies on top and a stamped sentiment clipped to satiny ribbon. There was a lot of folding, cutting, and gluing in this project, but it came together easy enough.
In the picture below, you get a side view of the Sweet Cup. I measured the cup, did the math, and used liquid glue to adhere the Gorgeous Grape paper strips, which really defines the cup with the diagonal striped designer series paper. The bottom strip is a must to ground the cup.
I hope you liked today’s projects. Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. Have a great day and God bless.
