Tea Boutique Suite Collection Peekaboo Treat Bag

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a really cute Tea Boutique Peekaboo Treat Bag. This project would be ideal for a craft fair and is really easy to make.

As always, your shopping Supplies are below. You are going to have to wing your measurements for the DSP to your preference.

To create the lemon tucked under the teacup, I cut Daffodil Delight for the half lemon with the overlay detail in Crushed Curry; both of which were omitted from your Supply List.

These adorable Peekaboo Treat Bags come in 2 colors of Crumb Cake and Basic White. They are food safe and so easy to decorate.

I measured the treat bag margins, picked my patterns from the Tea Boutique DSP, cut them to size, and adhered the panels with liquid adhesive onto the bag.

I then went about stamping and die-cutting my images. The lemon was assembled as described above.

The large greenery image was stamped onto Basic White CS with Sweet Sorbet ink and cut from its coordinating die x2.

I stamped one of the teacup images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto Tea Boutique DSP and cut from its coordinating die. I used a Real Red Watercolor Pencil to color in the leaves on the teacup.

I stamped two tags with the small tag with Tahitian Tide and the large tag with the outline stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black, the sentiment in Orchid Oasis, and the small leaf at the top left of the tag in Parakeet Party. Both tags were cut with their coordinating dies.

I die-cut 1 large and 2 small hearts from the same DSP used for the teacup.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black at the bottom of the bag directly onto the DSP.

For final assembly, I adhered the large Sweet Sorbet leaves behind the teacup with liquid adhesive.

I punched a small hole at the top of the sentiment tag and threaded through a length of Linen Thread to tie this to the teacup handle.

The teacup and tag were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tucked the lemon behind the teacup with liquid adhesive, as well as the small Tahitian Tide tag to the right of the sentiment tag.

I tied another bow from White Baker’s Twine and adhered this atop of the Linen Thread bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

A small Heart Pearl was adhered under the tag.

I die-cut 1 large and 2 small standalone hearts from the Teacup Dies using the same pattern of DSP that the teacup was stamped in. The hearts were adhered with liquid adhesive.

I tucked my Lemon Ginger teabag into the bag with a Lemon Drop and sealed the bag.

This is just the cutest little gift and one that could be given at anytime.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
