Toile Tidings Cardinal

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a coloring project with Toile Tidings.

I used a combination of Watercolor Pencils, Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, and ink pads on today’s card. Toile Christmas is a cling mount stamp set making direct coloring to the stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers very easy. NEVER use your Stampin’ Blends on stamps due to the properties of the alcohol-based ink. Stampin’ Write Markers are okay to use because they are water-based and will clean right up. I also incorporated a little bit of the Feels Like Frost Suite in with the Frosted Frames Dies, Ice Stampin’ Glitter, and Shimmery Crystal Effects for the snowflakes on the right of the wreath stamped in Early Espresso onto Whisper White Thick and die-cut. The two Early Espresso CS white heat embossed trees are from last year’s and current carryover of Winter Woods then fussy cut.

I have a Whisper White Thick card base with a strip of 2019-2021 In Color 6 x 6 DSP in Seaside Spray. The large branch was inked with Stampin’ Write Markers in Real Red, Garden Green, and Early Espresso and colored in with Watercolor Pencils. The cardinal was inked up in the same manner with markers in Real Red and Basic Black then colored in with Stampin’ Blends in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. Crumb Cake dot images were stamped off around the wreath. The snowflakes from Frosted Frames were die-cut from Garden Green CS with Shimmery Crystal Effects used as adhesive to liberally apply Ice Stampin’ Glitter. There’s really good dimension to this card as seen below.

My mistake is the sentiment in the lower left, which I’m completely ignoring, because it happens sometimes.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Have a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING and God bless.
