Tropical Oasis Suite Get Well Card

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Timeless Tropics Get Well card.

I will be formally introducing this bundle tomorrow and showcasing projects that I’ve created using many of the same techniques in this card. This is a deliciously fantastic must have bundle.

I made this Get Well card for my friend, Denise. There was a lot of selective inking techniques on this card with Rock ‘n Roll, watercolor pencils blended out, and using Blender Pens on wet ink with the leaves to pull the color around.

The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, and Pretty Peacock. I used a Blender Pen to pull the ink around, shading in the white spaces. The pineapple was inked with Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, also pulling the ink around. The flowers were inked up with Pool Party with Pretty Peacock inked around the edges. I shaded in Daffodil Delight watercolor pencil and blended it out. The measurements are below, which are a little bit wonky today. I pulled out a Pretty Peacock scrap that looked A2, but was really 4 x 5-1/2, so you just make it work.
