Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for another card created using a floating panel technique from Two-Tone Flora and the underrated and overlooked Phrases For All.
This was incredibly easy to make and good busywork. Two-step stamping with a solid image and a coordinating overlay always turns out for me with a colorful combination of Poppy Parade, Sweet Sorbet, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral, and Lemon Lime Twist.
As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.
I started out with my Gray Granite card base and cut a piece of Basic Gray CS to size then embossed with an Online Exclusives Basics EF that was adhered to the card base with Seal.
I cut a piece of Basic White Regular CS to 3-3/4 x 5 and used my Paper Trimmer to cut the card stock every 1/2″. I arranged the strips of paper onto the card base to figure out where to stamp my sentiment from Phrases For All in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the paper strips and adhered them to the card base working my way in from top to bottom to keep my spacing consistent. Basically, I winged it.
From the Two-Tone Flora stamp set, I took the 2 smallest flowers and their coordinating line art overlays, and stamped the solid images in Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo with Sweet Sorbet and Calypso Coral line art, all of which were cut from their coordinating dies.
The leaves were stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and cut from its coordinating die.
For final assembly, the flowers were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves were adhered with liquid adhesive. Five Pebbled Path In Color Dots were used to embellish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
