Warm Welcome Bundle + Alphabet a la Mode Dies | Ink Cube Gift Box

Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for a Mini Pizza Box used to house our ink cubes + a mini paint brush with the Warm Welcome Bundle and Alphabet a la Mode Dies.

I flipped the door in the Warm Welcome stamp set and turned it into a paint palette. This was super easy and fun to make and a great gift for your crafty friends.

My primary colors are in the Brights family of Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Gorgeous Grape. I brought in Black Glitter Paper to adhere to the box, Black & White Gingham Ribbon, and Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to embellish.

There’s a little cheat to wrap the ribbon around the box while allowing it to open that I will narrate to you.

I also used the glitter paper to cover the entire box, including the bottom.

If I remember, I’ll try to retake the pictures. As of this writing, it’s pretty gloomy here.

As always, your shopping Supplies and Instructions, including measurements, are below.

I used the Mini Pizza Box as my base and cut the Black Glitter Paper to the sizes below.

I had to adhere the ribbon to the box with Scotch Tape before I adhered the glitter paper. This is where I fudged it. I wanted to wrap the ribbon all the way around but if I did, I wouldn’t be able to open the box. There are tails coming out at the top and bottom left to be able to tie.

I cut a length of Black & White Gingham Ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the box and adhered the end to the right inside of the box with Scotch Tape.

To start the ribbon again to complete the top of the box, I adhered a length with Scotch Tape leaving the right side free to open up yet looking like it’s all cohesive.

I then adhered down all of the glitter paper with Tear & Tape.

On a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper that was treated with the Embossing Buddy, I stamped the door image in Memento Tuxedo Black 1st, Versamark 2nd, coated with clear powder, and heat set.

I used my Smoky Slate ink pad to put color on one of our Clear Blocks, diluted it with a medium size Water Painter, and lightly colored in the image everywhere except the ‘color wells.’

I cut the all of the letters from Alphabet a la Mode Dies out of Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Gorgeous Grape, including what I used for the inside of the box. I adhered CREATE to the top of my color palette with liquid adhesive starting out at the first and last letter, then working my way to keep the letters evenly spaced apart.

The ‘color wells’ were colored in with Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, and Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Write Markers. I used our medium size Water Painter to lift color from the middle of the color wells.

Black Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were put on the back of the image that was adhered to the top of the box.

Five small Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels were adhered to embellish.

For the inside, I cut a piece of Basic Black CS to size and adhered the letters with liquid adhesive. The panel was adhered to the box with Tear & Tape.

Five small Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels were adhered to embellish.

I laid down some tissue paper that I had in the box and tucked in my 4 Ink Cubes in the same colors that I’ve used in this project.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
