Hello there! Thank you for joining me today for 3 alternative Paper Pumpkin projects that I created from the June 2023 Welcome Inn Kit. I didn’t bring in a lot of other supplies and used the kit contents more so than not.
This kit coordinates perfectly with Countryside Corners Suite Collection that you can find on page 63 of the Annual Catalog.
Here are the cards that I made from the kit’s original designs. There are exclusive die-cuts that coordinate with this Paper Pumpkin Kit (163192) and refill kits will be available in a few weeks when I post the Resources when the information is made available to me. The original kit is no longer available if you are not subscribed to Paper Pumpkin. The refill kits supply all of the materials of the original Paper Pumpkin Kit sans the stamp set and ink cube.
For my alternatives, I brought in:
- Ink pads of Boho Blue, Balmy Blue, and Night of Navy.
- Card stock of Boho Blue, Balmy Blue, and Misty Moonlight.
- Cottage Flowers Dies.
- Online Exclusives of Vellum Basics Specialty DSP.
- Ribbon, Baker’s Twine, circle punch, and pearls.
The alternative cards will be narrated in full per card. Our first card is …
I started off with an A2 top-folding Boho Blue card base. I cut one of the card bases from the kit to 3-3/4 x 5 and adhered that to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The materials used from the kit on this card are the image panel, vase, and sentiment strip.
I die-cut my flowers from Cottage Flowers out of Balmy Blue CS. I stamped my sentiment from Phrases For All onto the Balmy Blue cut from the kit with Night of Navy ink.
I lined all of my elements up on the image panel for placement and used liquid adhesive to secure the Balmy Blue Cottage Flowers cut.
Stampin’ Dimensionals were added to the back of the vase from the kit + I tied Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the neck of the vase into a bow.
The sentiment panel, also from the kit cuts, was stamped in Night of Navy ink and adhered to the image panel with Tear & Tape from the kit.
Three Night of Navy enamel dots from the kit were scattered about to embellish.
For our second card, I used a Night of Navy side folding card base from the kit. I cut down another card base from the kit to 3-3/4 x 5 and adhered that to the card base at an angle with Seal. I stamped the vase onto Basic White Regular CS with Night of Navy ink and used the coordinating die to cut. The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy ink onto one of the labels from the kit.
For final assembly, I took a large printed panel from the kit and adhered it to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The vase and sentiment were also adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Three enamel dots from the kit were adhered to the vase. Lastly, I tied a piece of Boho Blue Textured Ribbon around the left side into a knot.
For our last alternative card, I brought in the coordinating Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper + a little glimmer paper and our Basic Vellum.
Our card base is a top-folding A2 Misty Moonlight. I cut the DSP to side and adhered to the card base with Seal. I stamped the vase from the kit in Boho Blue ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to apply Misty Moonlight ink to the edges of the vase and then cut the vase from its coordinating die. I punched the vellum from our 2-3/8″ punch. I stamped the sentiment onto Basic White Regular CS and then cut to size.
For final assembly, I used a hole punch to notch the right and left sides of the card and tied a length of Basic White Twine around the card and tied into a bow at the left. I adhered the vase to the center of the vellum circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added more Stampin’ Dimensionals to the base of the vellum to adhere to the card base.
The sentiment was adhered to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals that was then embellished with Iridescent Pearls.
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for stopping by for a visit and have a great day!
