Hello there y’all! This was supposed to go up last Wednesday, but I got hit with a few more ice/snowstorms and lost power off and on. This is getting old.
I saw one of Susan’s projects and had to recreate for the Design Team Make Your Mark Challenge at ATSM . I’m hooked on the Wonderful Romance Product Suite and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be carrying over to the next AC. This project also is responsible for the 4 stitches on my thumb when I was designing a die-cut for the bow. That last center cut is where the scissors slipped and here I am. It’s been a very frustrating experience. This one has been sitting on the desk for a while.
This product suite is beautifully amazing with line art images and an array of stunning framelits for accents, one of which is featured on the right side of the card.
In the photo above, you can see the intricate edge and the dimension of the other images. This extremely versatile product suite consists of some of the most stunning designer series paper I’ve seen with a watercolor soft floral pattern on vellum. It’s fabulous to work with and SNAIL glides right on. The Petal Pink Whisper White 5/8″ Varigated Ribbon was used on this card last week. The Floral Romance Seals will take you way back to more formal times when the forgotten art of letter writing was mandatory etiquette. I’ve showcased the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and Frosted Flower Embellishments in previous blog posts.
I brought in Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers of Fresh Fig and Mossy Meadow, and laid down color with no blending. The DSP pattern behind the image is a healthy blend and I didn’t want to bring that forward, as it has a tendency to get blurry on you. Between the image and DSP is a Pearlized Doilie that I sponged Fresh Fig ink onto. The flowers and leaves are in Fresh Fig. The new Old Olive Baker’s Twine is new and long overdue. I secured that to the stem with a Basic Pearl that I colored with Dark Fresh Fig.
The new Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies are another long overdue and desperately needed staple, and I’m so glad they’re here. The above sentiment was die-cut with the sentiment frame that I added a Frosted Flower too. I’m not big on this type of embellishment, but it worked. Around the sentiment rectangle are detailed die-cut greenery sprigs included in the Wonderful Romance Bundle.
The fonts in this product suite are elegant. SNAIL is on the back of the vellum adhered to Whisper White.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit me. Have a great day and God bless.
Beautiful details on your card! I hope your thumb is healing well!
